5. Keratosis Pilaris. Apparently there is a name for those bumps on the outside of my upper arms! No sleep till...
It is taking an incredibly long time lately for Simon to fall asleep. Most of the time for the past year he would go to sleep easily--it could take him up to 45 minutes, but usually much less.
But since the end of air conditioning season it can take him up to 90 minutes. I tried moving bedtime back by 30 minutes as the interwebs suggested, and it ( Read more... ) -
Anger
Why do I feel so much anger today? Nothing really terrible happened. I did have a quarterly garbage and water bill go to our old checking account, and will have to pay some overdraft fee, but I am reconciled to it and will be glad when we close that account.

Elimination diet
Tomorrow I begin an elimination diet to try and quell a new flare-up of Interstitial Cystitis. I last had bladder pain this bad five years ago, August 2006, when Jim and I were on a camping trip. Don't worry, it turned out to be nothing
"Very likely nothing," I tell myself but it's hard not to give in to anxiety. I am in the inner waiting room, after registering for my diagnostic mammogram. I had my first screening mammogram 10 days ago and they have called me back for more. The last session took about 20 minutes, but they said this one could be up to 2 hours. I read recently about a study that showed many bipolar young adults may outgrow the disease around 30. It may be related to the fact that our prefrontal cortex is still growing and developing in our 20s. I found the idea very hopeful. Pretty awful yet awesome week
This week I've been tired and cranky, the usual onset of PMS. Baby steps
