All Purpose Clerk. Really really glorified gopher/janitor. Oh well, think I aced the test(s). They were kinda easy. Didn't study for em a lick over the 2 days we were supposed to. So, going to take a stupid produce test later today. Gets to be sucky. I have to know 25 produce codes and be able to identify 50 kinds of produce, but that ain't going to happen. So, work... Going to go to classes on monday - wednesday to become an APC (All Purpose Clerk) meaning I will a courtesy clerk that gets paid Cashier wages, but not technically a cashier. Well, been a while, so I figured I may as well update on here. Lots of things have happened. Lets start with work, shall we. Got the job at Fry's Food on Drug on First and Grant. Stupid Fry's... We have to go through 16 hours of training classes... 4 4-hour long classes. Did two of em on Sunday and one yesterday. Next one is on Thursday. After that I am good to go at actually working. Ended up bagging groceries for about an hour on Sunday cause we finished early, but still wanted to get paid for the full 8 hours. ( Read more... )
