I stopped receiving Christmas gifts from my parents maybe 9 years ago. I can't remember the gifts before that, but I asked for a Walkman in 2000. We bought it together in SM Department Store, and since then, they always just gave me money (or took me shopping). It made me feel mature, because that was what my mom's policy was with her inaanaks.

Jimmy Eat World did a really good cover of Last Christmas. It's one of my favorite Christmas songs now, even if it kind of is cheating haha (because part of the charm is the baduy factor!)

i have that song! because i got obsessed with the soundtrack of the OC last year. never listened until you mentioned it though. quite nice indeed! but hard to sing with because of the slightly changed tune. it got confusing for me hahahaha
