It is RAINING! In Southern California!

I am snuggled up on the couch with all four beagles and a fleece blanky and my kids are spending the night at a friend's house and I has the internets on my lap and I can listen to the sound of raindrops on the patio.

Maybe I'll go make some hot cocoa.

I would think not on the rain. I really need to visit California sometime.

Right now I have a very sweet snugly cat who is keeping me from being too sad we don't have a dog. Maybe some day...

If you prefer kitty piles, I could cover you in three black cats. (provided the kitten who has never seen rain in her life ever decides to emerge from whatever dry spot she has found to hide from the scary wet so she can come home)

I don't recommend trying to pile the cats and dogs together, however. That tends to get a bit loud. And sometimes painful.

Is there any other way to sit on your couch? Last I checked the beagles pretty much rule the furniture and the humans sit on the floor as often as not. Heee . . .

I hope the rain makes it this far. They're thinking we'll get it tomorrow morning, but it's been crystal clear all day today. *crosses fingers*
