They gave it back!
Unlike most social sites, LJ actually listened to users when they said the revamp was undesirable and changed it all back. My stuff is back and I am glad! It looks a little different but the things are wanted are back where i wanted them. Win! -
HATE the Home page redesign.
Why do social sites like MySpace, LiveJournal, and Facebook feel it is necessary to re-arrange things all the time? I get that when the grocery store does it, it is to force you to look around for the things you want in the hope that you will buy extra stuff. But what is the purpose on a social website? I am less loopy than I was yesterday, when Saul had to post for me. I am still sore, my belly looks a little like someone attacked me with a bb gun, and the pain meds make me sleepy for two out of every four hours, but otherwise I am doing well. :) -
Home and all is well
This is majickuzer , posting for Amy. She is home from the surgery and everything went wonderfully. Right now she is resting and recovering, so any phone calls should probably wait until tomorrow. -
There was an earthquake?
Several posts on my flist seem to indicate this was so, but I didn't feel it. This is odd; usually I notice little quakes the rest of my family doesn't feel. The reactions seem to suggest it was a significant shake, too. Of course, the friends who mentioned it live roughly 45 minutes to an hour south of me, so maybe that's why I didn't notice it? -
Update on Daddy
~10 pm Thursday.
Home, finally. He was transferred to the cath unit at Glendale Adventist, 45 minutes away w/o traffic. Los Robles is eliteist; because they are out in a wealthy area and are the only cath unit in reasonable distance, they won't contract with smaller insurance companies and charge the bigger ones whatever they like.
