Some coworkers and I have been taking a fitness dance class with a hip hop theme. It has been difficult, but also a lot of fun. I work up a sweat and the hour goes by quickly. We had some minor flooding in our office this weekend.

I was able to mostly ignore the fans that having been buzzing all around me today.

I'm having a little more trouble concentrating this afternoon as they've begun sawing through the walls and running a shop-vac near my cubicle.

The noise is driving me up the wall.

It's cold and dark and I'm constantly sleepy and tense.  People are rushing since they have to catch up on work not done during the snow days.  Performance agreements are due in six weeks.  We have lawsuits and deadlines and (chicago) bears, OH MY!

I never would have survived the dark ages.  We only lost power for two days, but I was a whiny mess.  The power went out Thursday night which was fine since I was already asleep, but getting ready for work was a little bit of a challenge.
