I had no idea all this was going on, and I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you more throughout it all. I think about you and pray for you every day, and part of my depressed period was because of how much I miss you. I still do, but I'm learning to deal with it. But I wish I had simply told you that and we could commiserate with each other. But the good news is that you're a brave survivor, and I'm in awe of how positive you are and how you're taking care of yourself. And I'm so happy for you and John. You know that I'll fly anywhere for the wedding, right? Just tell me when and where. And I really should visit you soon.

There's an invite in the mail to you for my nuptials, and they should be quite close to you...well...in the same state...so maybe you can come down for them, and hang with Raq, Amy, and I...and whoever else decides to show up. I know Raq would love to see you, and Amy would too. I don't count as much only because I can't guarantee that I'll have time to spend with you. I have to be terribly social and all of that, but they'll all be so close, so why not plan on driving down for a day or so. There is a spa day going on, and if we can set it up, you are more than welcome to attend that as well. Again, I know that the more opportunities Aims and Raq have to see you/spend time with you the happier they will be. Again, I really feel that getting married, having a wedding is just an excuse for your friends to be able to get together, because the people that are getting married don't actually get to spend a great deal of time with any one person, so I can't say the same about myself, but if I didn't have 200 other people clamoring for

I thought you were coming this weekend, so I asked Raq to bring you over on Saturday for some fun things in Oak Park. Alas, you are coming on the weekend that I have COMPS. If I am not exhausted by then, we can still do something on Sunday. Oak Park is definitely a different place than Chicago, so I am sure that you'd enjoy seeing the difference...anyway, I'll at least drop by to say, "HI!" while you are in town. I hope you enjoy the visit, and the bed that is being vacated *just for you*.

Don't take job advice from me, sugar! I'm not one to get a job worthwhile. Look at LCA for that. I often take the first thing available. You had a great job, but they come and go. You may be making less where you are now, but are you happier? That's what it comes down to.

I am uber-thrilled for you and John!!!!!! Just think: a year ago, you were worried about relationships and the real world! Look how far you've come! Mama Jud-eye is so very proud of you!

Just so that you know, it was a great shower. I think that everyone had a great time. Did you ever get that deposit thing worked out? Further, you had some fun activities planned. I think that you met the goal of providing me with enough chocolate to last a lifetime. Well, a few months at least. the games really did get people to talk with each other. Greg and Chris hit it off. That is really nice, that me new family will get along with my friends, well, my friends boyfriends. Richter was a little interesting, but what can I say? he seemed to be interested in the camping conversation, so he mustn't have hated the whole thing, and did not manage to feel like the complete stranger that he was. For the most part, your first party was great. Now, get you a better microphone, and you are ready for a new job as a party planner. I know someone in the business, I can get you hooked up with her. Or however one would say such a thing. No offense Heather, you make an excellent microphone, but I don't think that she could take you on
