I Saw the best gig ever last night. The Special Beat was up with the Buzzcocks as the best show I have ever attended. It was just such an invigorating live experience. The main singer from the specials got his son up on stage who was about 22 years old. He sang heaps of the songs and the chemistry between father and son was amazing. I am still ( Read more... )

wow, u lucky bastard, i heard they were in town but unfortunately due to work i couldnt attend...soundz like it woz awesome, good 2 hear such an enthusiastic report about a live act as well...did they play 'concrete jungle'?? my fave specials track, the percussion in the recorded version of that track at the start is amazing, and then when the ska beat kickz in...magic!!! so have u sussed out any of my trax yet?? make sure u visit me blog coz i gave it a full-on revamp, even jazzed up the link 2 this page etc, heapz of music news...oh well, done enuff shameless self-promo on yr page so i best be going then!! nutty beat revival?

have checked out ya tracks but cant hear them too well cos i have to listen at work. they are really good though and i reckon they are getting more polished with every track! have you heard any of my keyboards in dennys band? yeah they played concrete jungle amonsgst others it was awesome.

denny's band? u on keyboardz? awesome!! i have been so flat out with work, i had no idea denny even had a band...we will have 2 all catch up soon; it's such a hassle though as sunday is like my only proper day off, perhaps we could all go out for a drink one saturday nite? anywayz, thanx 4 the comments re: my trax, @ least somebody is listening! cheerz, talk 2 u later!
