Rawr! I sooooooooo love to see the interactions of Hogwart's staff behind the scenes so to speak! And you captured their "voices" very well. "Puce Brown" indeed!

Thanks! Snape and McG are my favorite characters to imagine banter between. And behind-the-scenes teacher fic is probably my very favorite genre, too.

I love all the affectionately pointed banter between Severus and Minerva. I always figured stuff like this was going on between them (since we see glimpses of rivalry around the House Cup and all). Nice job!

Glad you enjoyed it; I've always liked their canon rivalry myself.

Ah, I'd always imagined they'd enjoyed banter and rivalry like this! (Which makes Snape's betrayal and tenure as headmaster the next year that much harder to bear.) I do hope Minerva exacts her revenge for the 'daft bimbo' comment--Snape should know better. Enjoyed! M.

Thanks! I've always believed there's much more to the 7th-year betrayal than DH even hinted at; it's a fanfic motherlode.

Hee! This is just one line among many excellent ones, and I love the sexual tension just below the surface. Fabulous piece!

Thanks!. I love Snape/McGonagall sexual tension, even though it's a hard pairing to make plausible. But on the other hand, it seems like a natural end for their rivalry (or seems so to me, anyway :))

/g/ "Puce" gets unfairly treated, I think; it can actually be a nice color.
