K, so. The other Intern, Cass? We were buds back in high school. In fact, our foods teacher personally wrote both of our letters that are part of the reason we got into the program where we did. Last year was ok, I didn't see much of her but we were in different classes at different times and ours was the only class that didn't get to share classes

I'm just a big confuzzled - you both got the internship, right? So... she didn't boot you out? You still have the internship? The carpooling is a separate issue, and that seems kinda mean, but I don't really see how she stole your internship.

It's not... stole... per say. It's more like... I dunno. Today, I was cutting cake while she got to do sweet garnishes and piping, you know? She keeps getting pulled aside to learn all this cool stuff and I don't get any of that. I don't know why, but I don't. And if I hadn't said anything to her, she wouldn't have the internship and I'd be the one learning all the cool things, verses just the grunt work

Yeah, that is a bit assholeish. I agree. And you think that even if you hadn't helped her out, she'd be willing to carpool.

Would talking to your boss--not to complain, just to express an interest in learning the cool stuff--be worth trying?
