Charlie closes her laptop and wanders out of the bedroom she's had since before she can remember.  It's the same townhouse her parents have lived in for God knows how long.  But she loves it.  She knows where every squeaky floorboard is and what all the noises at night are.  She makes her way down the stairs to the living room, searching for her

Alex sat on the living room couch looking down at his arm. While Charlie had never known him without the robotic prosthetic he knew in most of the videos he was going to have the old crappy arm. And some days it still felt like he'd just lost it. He had the few videos they had from before in the dvd player. He'd forgotten he'd put them all on just a few discs.

Charlie plops down on the couch beside Alex. She's proud of her Dad and his Terminator arm. "Okay. Bring it on, Pops."

Alex wrapped his arm around her before hitting play, he wasn't sure she was going to like the people she saw. The first clips are on a beach with a very drunken Jen and Alex flopped out in beach chairs with the dogs. While it would take someone who knew them it was obvious neither one was all that physically well and Alex had his old arm.

Charlie watches for a moment before looking up at Alex. "Where was this?" She remembers Dog and Vulpe from when she was a little girl.
