Escape
Alex lay on the lumpy cot he'd been giving staring up at the ceiling. His cell was dark and he hoped it would work in his favor as he gently worked his hand back and forth trying to sharpen the broken bit of metal he'd pulled from the cot frame against the wall. Alex sat on the floor his back pressed up against the wall. He kept an ear out for anyone approaching while he scraped the rough rock he'd found against his prosthetic arm. Alex made his way down the sidewalk fiddling with his phone. He hadn't wanted to leave Jen or Charlie but he had started to smell and there were a few things they had still needed. Alex lay flopped out across the bed his pajama pants riding low on his hips. He was holding his old guitar in one hand but was trying not to look down at it. He wanted to play or at least wanted to try and play but he didn't want to fail. He huffed a little he wanted to be able to play lullabies for his daughter. -

Alex stood in the living room trying to settle himself down. He'd had a rough week worrying about Jen and all he'd really gotten done was upsetting himself. Now he was tired and his nerves were worn. Name talks
Alex lay snuggled up under the blankets, he was awake he had just decided to curl up comfortably. He was just wearing his boxers though he'd started out wearing a t-shirt that was draped over his arm on the nightstand. The dogs were curled up around his legs though he knew it was only because they were hoping for a snack. -
Phone Calls
Alex was in the kitchen humming softly to Vulpe who was settled on a bar stool watching him. He wasn't all that sure if Jen was even really feeling like eating but he knew she and the baby both needed to get some nutrients in.
