Quite possibly the most scarring idea I've ever heard in my life.

"in vitro meat"

(all I can think about are quivering petri dishes. Puke.)

The picture that accompanies that article doesn't do much to promote the idea. *bleh*

but then i think if the QUIVERING HUNKS OF TISSUE BEING GROWN IN LAB... and nothing has ever made me want to become a vegetarian so badly again!

ew i seriously need to stop eating meat. it's like, anything that has to do with meat is just gross. except the buffalo chicken sub from subway, which i just ate.

does that have the patty with the rake ribs like the Mc-riblet? i bet they make that meat by shooting a bunch of chickens through an industrial fan, hosing the whole thing with sauce and then scraping the giblets off of the wall.
(thats probably why they taste so good)

one of the good things about living in india is that i do pretty much know what i'm eating (cos its all vegetables bought on the street), but i don't know how many terrifying bacteria/bugs have made their home in it :)

there is terrifying bacteria in everything though... and some not so terrifying also. it's pretty much unavoidable. in india... well... it might just be a little more in your face. :) at least you KNOW where your food is coming from though!
