There will be a for-honest real post in just over a week. I've finished leg one of the travels; the cruise. Leg two, the fetching of the children from Santa Barbara, starts today. I arrive sometime tomorrow night. Schedule says 6:17 PM, but it lies and I know it.

It's not nice for middle age to suddenly announce it's presense.

When you realize that you're there and you didn't really notice it coming you can only wonder how long you lived with the blinders on.

Many mothers get flowers, brunch, a card or jewelry to celebrate this day.
