first time being a homeowner has come to bite me in the ass: my heat isn't working. I woke up today and it was 62 degrees in my condo, despite the thermostat being set to 72. it is just blowing cold air out of the vents. and I have no landlord to call to fix it...meep.

Hehe, mine doesn't either! Not that I have ever needed it, but last night I was freezing in my new bedsheets, so I went to turn it up to 80 with the heat setting on and well, it didn't change a thing.

Are ya sure you had "heat" on, or did you just move the thermostat up?

sigh, no, apparently it is a problem with the gas line connection, says the repairman. ARGH. it will be fixed Monday morning.
