Adicus and I met up with my coworker Rick and his two yellow labs, Luna and Lobo, to do the AIDS Walk here in Austin. I got up at 8am, after a short night's rest to make sure I had enough time to do a load of laundry so I'd have something to wear. I ended up just pulling clothes out of the dirty laundry pile. After spending the last 60 hours or so sleeping and not sleeping in three-hour shifts, I'm glad to report that my would-be fever has broken. I say would-be fever because I can't say I actually had one like I usually do. But at the same time, I can recall the second it broke, that I started feeling better. Screw money, I've got a credit card and a date with some milk duds at the movie theatre. I'm going to see a chick flick for a pick me up, now that I'm assured Sir Adicus has survived a scare at the paws of a rott. He finally stopped panting after two hours.
