I just think in a lot of ways this is a more important scene to their future than the kiss, so I had to work with it.

I don't know. It'd been stewing since earlier when I was saner, so it was probably just residual that I was able to vom out onto paper.

lol I love how that kind of was how I felt when thinking about 'what if they become canon' since most of my activity in fandom is STARING AT SUBTEXT and well you know, no use for that after they get together.

Seriously, I'm still on a high from the episode, and I've been keeping it alive with reading all this amazing post-ep fic. I like that you chose to go with this scene rather than the obvious choice of the kiss scene. It's different. :)

As much as the kiss scene means to me, this scene means more. I just love that neither of them questions their new status and it's organic as the whole rest of their relationship.

It's such a simple moment, but it means so much for their future.
