It's not impossible, but it lacks purpose. Like, if it was, then so what? It requires a lot of us to even think "Maipole" the moment seeing it without any other reason. If it was meant to make us afraid of that, it failed.

West port is like this town, but dead. Everyone was killed and these empty hazmat suits come out and spray poison.

You go there, you die.

When we went there, supposedly the guys that stayed behind found graves with our names but with skeletons that didn't match. Maybe it was the dead from Westport.

Halloween someone told me about the radioactive corpses when we vanished... Maipole was another town with ☠☠☠☠ up ☠☠☠☠. It was Russian. I think someone blew it up... maybe with nukes?
