Happy ME day, ME ME ME!

Mar 22, 2005 23:18

As meredith mentioned, it's my birthday, so I guess the secret is out. I don't really like to make a big deal out if it. I'm also not so good at accepting gifts, so I don't really like to advertise when it's coming up. My aunt, who knows me too well explained that she's sending me a cashier's check (and other stuff) since I didn't give her a sufficient ( Read more... )

Certainly are prolific today. Happy Birthday. You are now older. But only by a day, right? I agree with the apnea diagnoses that just doesn't quite drop you into hypoxia. I've heard you sleep. You can be loud at times. The noise alone may keep you from reaching REM sleep. Do you dream adequatly? The surgery may not resolve the problem though, or will it?

I don't dream adequately, which is the problem. As I said, I'm going in for a sleep study to get an accurate diagnosis. If I had the surgery, which would likely be a year out, it would resolve the airflow issue. Delayed sleep phase syndrome is another thing that requires behavioral changes. I'm thinking that if I get better quality sleep, that my sleep phase will stop advancing.

Happy birthday! Glad you finally got the gun. If I knew you were picking it up, I would've brought my stuff with me to work, and met you at the range. I think I would've shot well if, for a target, I printed out a photo of the CEO of my former company that sold all the employees out.

Regarding your stance, in the one video I have, the guy has his right arm pretty much locked, and his left arm flexed a little, pulling in. His right foot is back a little (is this a Weaver stance?). It gives him good stability, and also allows him to easily move between different targets, which the isosceles apparently isn't as good for. Anyways, I'm wondering if your problem isn't really a problem. If it works, use it. Something like that :)

Btw, I ordered that sight adjustment tool, the $50 one. You should order your sights!

Happy B'day!

Hmm, maybe once you get the malformed face fixed up, it'll alter your shooting habits too - or you could have 'em take a couple tucks to correct it? Heh, heh, heh!

CIA - that'd be cool. But, I checked it out and they don't take applications from people over age 30, which sucks. I've got a mind to go in and slap them with my walker . . . . ;-)

What's wrong with my shooting habits? hmm?

Damn those ageist bastards at the CIA.

Since I've never seen you shoot, I dunno. ;-)

Damn those ageist bastards at the CIA.

That's what I thought. Imagine what a great agent I'd make - I could fit a tape recorder easily in a belly dancing costume. I could get in anywhere. *sigh* Another brilliant career QUASHED!
