I hope you enjoy what you find here, this is my first venture into Big Valley fic, I mostly write in the ER fandom.

I wrote this having not seen an episode in over 40 years, and yes, I forgot about the article at the time. As the piece states, this was a first venture into the fandom and I haven't memorized every detail of every episode so I do take some artistic license with my work. If you want exact canon accuracy, you'll probaby not want to keep reading here, as I am creating my own backstory for Heath as I go along as well. If you want to read just for fun, then that's fine, but, please refrain from nit-picking.
