I have a Ravelry account but I only use it to look for patterns. I actually don't even have friends there or posted anything yet. But if you want to add me, my account is still crazy4dw. :)

Oh and if you want some more tips, you should check out Learn How to Knit. They have pretty helpful videos! :)

yay! adding you there now (same icon, diff name) You'll probably see some people you know if you look in my friends, and also, I run a Merlin group over there. (Kinda slackly, tbh, but it's a nice group nonetheless!)

omg the patterns on Knitty are SO COOL *__* and free!

Haha man I keep forgetting to actually HOLD my working yarn, if that makes sense? In the beginning I'll be holding it and a few stitches later I notice that I've dropped it at some point, and I've just been picking it up when I need to wrap it around my needle again. I have to get used to the feel of it threading through my fingers, because all the tutorials say you have to hold the yarn to regulate the tension.

I have one! I've done nothing with it because I don't actually knit and my one crochet project has been going on since November (I am the WORST), but I have hopes for the future. Anyway, added you! I'm carrie-lynn-h, because originality was not on the menu that day.

If I can get knitting down comfortably I want to pick up crochet too!

Added you back. And we can motivate each other.

(my usernames are NEVER original. creativity, how does it work.)

See, to me, knitting looks impossibly complicated compared to crocheting. Something about the two needles vs. one hook thing.

Sweet! I just want to finish my damn afghan, surely that's not too much to ask.

(I have no idea. Usernames have never been my strong suit.)
