...hi?

Hi.

Okay:

+ So work and life and school have been busy enough that it's easier for me to microblog lately, over on Tumblr and Twitter. You can pretty much always find/follow me over there. I keep trying to make posts here but never feel like I have anything interesting to say, and I feel worse as time passes, and and and. ( Read more... )

There's likely some work at the Outlets near G-burg, I bet post-holidays they lose people back to school. Something to consider. *pets* I feel you on the money stuff, my budget is TIGHT, but fortunately, knowing no one means no obligation to be social and spend money, haha.

I'm thinking I might be taking my LOTR with me and enforcing a marathon on the family. Be entertaining for me at least.

If I was able to look as gorgeous as you without makeup, I honestly wouldn't bother. But I have to since my skin sucks, and I look tired without it (though when you saw me, I was on the verge of breakdown so it doesn't count ;P )

But seriously, I recommend Mary Kay for most things, though I did have a tinted moisturizer from Stila that I loved a while back, did good for my skin, good coverage. The one good thing about Mary Kay is they show you good application methods (so you don't look like a tramp from overkill, ha), and how to find the right colors for you. /pimp

Merry Christmas, love! Say hello to my old 'hood for me! :)

Ooh, the outlets are a good possibility maybe! At least it's a bunch of things to try in the same place. I'm off next week so I might hop up there and poke around.

Your family will appreciate the marathon even if they don't realize it.

Aw thanks bud. You always look fabulous when I see you. <3

Merry Christmas! I will totally stop in at Hilcrest and grab a pie in your name. *g*

I'd also recommend maybe the library? They're open on the weekends (Gettysburg branch) but would leave you with some brainpower if you're working 7 days a week. Plus, nice people. Can tell them I recommended you ;) Used to work there through school.

Dad will complain about waiting a year for the Hobbit, but having a re-watch might stave off the 'there's nothing on tv, movies suck, etc' whinge I always get, like I can somehow fix that for him, ha.

Oh, make me jealous why don't you! Enjoy your pie in good health!

The library would be AWESOME. Won't tire me out as much. :P I'll try them too! Gettysburg branch is nice and big compared to the other local ones, maybe they'll need some help. I've also got the Westminster branch of the CCPL as an option, it's almost the same distance.

Knitting's one of the few hobbies I've been able to stick to which is saying something. If you get into it, def post about it! I love chatting about yarn and maybe eventually I'll post up some photos of my projects, the ones I'm actually happy with hehe.

Thanks, sweets. Good luck with everything on your end too!

Helloooo! I have only recently ~educated~ myself in the world of make-up, but Maxfactor stuff seems to be consistently good, and I've just got some mascara from Maybelline which looks AMAZING and was actually pretty cheap. The tube is also bright yellow and thus much harder to lose, which is always a bonus. And and andddd Urban Decay eyeliners are AMAZING. They're a bit more pricey than others, but totally totally worth it: really easy to apply, stay on all day (and, uh, all night that time when I was feeling super lazy and woke up the next morning to find it ENTIRELY UNSMUDGED. Flawless.) and soooo many pretty colours :D ( ... )

I'm getting the Urban Decay Naked shadow pallete because it's supposedly really good and comes with their brushes and primer which are also really good, and I want to get some decent basics wherever possible so they last longer and I don't have to touch up all day. The work of makeup is part of why I've never really fucked with it. And yeah, heard good things about the eyeliners too! look forward to playing with some tutorials.

Oh tutoring! Something I could totally do and would enjoy, but I don't have any experience teaching, so I'm not sure how much I'd be able to charge or if I'd be able to pick up enough students to make a difference. Need to look into it and see if I could realistically get that kind of work and how, because that's what I'd prefer.

Hee, glad you like some of it! And glad you grabbed Watch the Throne too because I was wondering whether I should/if everyone and their mother had it already or not. :P
