I'm so lazy nowadays. I post little soundbites of my life over on Facebook, and I keep thinking, "I should post something of substance on Livejournal" then I get distracted by the children or something shiny.  My apologies.

It's been a month since my gallbladder was evicted. The surgery recovery was pretty easy, and I am thankful it is gone. ( Read more... )

Is it the meat or the spicy?
Glad you're mostly recovered, though!

Yay for Amelia!

Mostly same here. I've felt lower key lately, but I think that's me learning to relax a bit more and better.

So many different ways to look at Facebook type interactions - sure it's not deep, but considering that you're being distracted away by the children, that can maybe be a good thing sometimes? Click, short snippet of a post and off to do things with the kids! vs. "Not now! Have an entry to write!"

I ramble :)

I don't really know which one it is. I've been a bit of a chicken to test out spicing up some other proteins. :/

I think waves and ebbs are normal. Not everything has to be throttled up. God, I hope not.

I like that attitude - viewing Facebook as mingling at a busy party. It brings much less guilt.

I ramble too. One of the reasons you charm me. :)

I have also been ignoring LJ. It seems my friends list made a mass exodus to Facebook over the last several months. I still consider LJ to be a safer place for me to spill it all. I just can't seem to find the time or motivation to do so.

And pork? The other white meat. ;)

Pork is good stuff. I just have to pay the price later on.

LJ just seems to require such planning in comparison to FB.
