Pretty sure we're going on holiday to Africa to ring in my 23rd year on Earth. Tunisia or Egypt-- I can't decide.

You're so lucky! How are you able to travel like that?!

It's really cheap to get around Europe/Africa. The whole of Europe is like the size of the US. So when we go to Egypt it's only a 3 hour plane ride from here in England. Like flying from Wisconsin to Florida!

Awesome. Matt is studying abroad in Beirut next January. :( im not that happy about it, but at least he will get to see things. My eyes haven't seen far past bayville.

OOh Beirut... We are going there eventually because Will wants to visit his homeland (he's half Lebanese, his family all live in Beirut). I can see why you wouldn't be happy about that, though. :( Maybe you can visit him? You will travel eventually. It does cost a whole lot of money to travel anywhere from the US...

Yeah, I was thinking that since he will be there during my last spring semester, I will maybe spend my spring break there with him. I'm a little nervous about traveling that far, and have developed a recent fear of planes. But maybe I'll get up the courage.

That's a good idea! It will be a pretty long flight but as long as you take an eye mask, ear plugs, and a few sleeping tablets, you should be fine! And planes are statistically proven to be the safest method of travel, so if you can keep that in mind it helps a little I think. :D
