Jared was really waiting for a chance for Sam to redeem himself and he mentioned in tweets this was probably his favorite episode of the season so I would guess he was really happy about it:) I am a rabid Dean!girl but I was so glad to see Sam doing something more than just backing up his bro that I actually tweeted Jared about it;) The ending scene done to The Who blew me away, I watched it 10 times yesterday, it was so well directed and edited it I couldn't look away! I agree that the last two episodes were far superior to some others this season, but I guess that filler episodes are a necessary evil, just wish they gave them as much care and attention as arc-based episodes

I have to agree that the Rowena and Crowley crap was just (can't even come up with the right word) but now we can see the connection. Thank you for sharing.
I loved this episode! As you say, it flowed, rather than feeling choppy and stuck together with glue.
I thought Sam had burned the book and loved the reveal with Behind Blue Eyes - I thought it was a perfect song match and whereas I've only watched the last episode once, I've already watched this one three times! I can't even remember what the last episode was about without checking.
