You were a teenager! I think if you're not an emo little shit once in awhile while you're going through that mental/emotional transition to adulthood then that's a fluke and you're going to hit it in your 20's and it's going to suck.

Does everyone really have two sides, though? Some have two. Some have many facets. I'd like to think that some people are also consolidated.

i think that is what i was trying to say, people are definatly multi faceted. the over population and lack of privacy i believe has lead to this, along with peer pressure to be something that you are not. but what i was refering to is the fact that while i really seem to care at many times, i could care less if cirtain tragedies were to befall someone. i will give you an example, i would not be emotionally distraught if my parents died. its not something that i find very sad. everyone dies sooner or later. everyone knows this and yet they have SUCH a hard time comprehending the fact they are gone. it doesnt matter if they are dead out of the womb, or if they die in a car crash, or they die from a cold blooded murderer. it doesnt matter to me. thats kind of what i am saying. i tend to see myself for what i really am, a cold blooded person who rarely feels anything for anyone anymore. but the one that i let everyone see is someone who is caring and responsive. i am not saying that that person isnt the real me, i am just ( ... )
