No, seriously, what's the point of having a journal and not really writing in it? It's good practice for writing papers (which I'll be doing until I die probably) and good stress relief. -
Just...stuff.
There's so much I have to say, and I never write it down - I don't nearly get and blog my thoughts as much as I used to. I find that LJ is a safer place for blogging my thoughts these days - Facebook is going through what LJ went through in the early 2000's as far as conciousness of what you post and what you don't. 1. What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
I took 19 credits during summer quarter (blech), moved three hours away instead of just 20 minutes, quit a job I loved, was an executive staffer at a con, and I managed to get a B in a 200 level math class. I also have a functional romantic relationship with an equal.

Random Thought
The sleep deprivation is bad, so is the forgetting to eat because you're studying, but wanting to think about something other than your studies because it gives you warm fuzzies and it's all you want to think about is worse. I don't know how that makes sense, that I can ignore basic physical needs, but ignoring higher tier Maslow stuff is harder ( Read more... ) -
A moment to reflect
I haven't spent a lot of time alone while I've been down here. Come to think of it, I spend time with people everyday. I spend time with people at class, I spend time with Jeremy, Patrick, Zach, Amanda (who I need to see more), Dane, the McKinneys...most of my time is spent with other people in my company.
