You're the fifth person on my flist with this opinion :( I'm only on the fifth chapter now, and I'm afraid to read anymore. Two very good H/Hr fanfic writers are quitting HP all together and so many others are jumping ship. I'm almost tempted to throw the book across the room (which is what I do with bad books, just ask my husband, lol!) and go work on my stories for comfort. We'll always have fandom to help us cope :)

I'm annoyed pissed etc but I'll still buy the 7th book and Amy and I already wrote 100 lines of fanfiction this morning. We're going to post some MAJOR fluff for you H/Hr fans tonight ok? We think you guys will like it a lot.

I'm thinking JKR read too much bad fanfiction and forgot how to characterize her own characters. It's sad.

I totally agree. I like Luna even more, actually, though she is woefully under-utitlized.

As for Hermione... As I said on Blaze's LJ, I weep over the death of Hermione, as I know not who this foul beast is who has taken on her likeness.
