my ipod is dead. damn. i was planning on getting a new one anyways and giving this one to jen, but looks like i'll have to get a new one sooner than i thought. there's no way i can survive for long without one. plus i'm going to florida in a week and i'll need one for the plane. sorry jen!

man - mine did the same thing few weeks ago. plain white screen..nothin else. called apple -they said my warranty ran out 25 days before making this call. ipods life is frickin short.

seriously, my last one died almost exactly a year after i got it. same thing with this one. it's like they're programmed to die after a year or something haha.

Amy and I both had ours for about 2 1/2 years. Both of them died within the last three months. Well, to be fair, mine still WORKED but I could only load 6 gig on it. So I gave it Amy to use when HERS died, and then it got stolen. Which isn't Apple's fault I suppose, but still.
