Oh, Erica being moody/bitchy is always fun. So, is Ian going to make an appearance? I sort of liked him before, I think.

I like moody/bitchy Erica a lot too. It's a fine line between making her cranky and making her come off as a shrill bitch. I was kind of close to that line here, I think. Oh well, I'm glad you liked it.

As for Ian, I really liked him when he talked Erica through everything in the car in the earlier part of your story. But I hope he doesn't stand in the way of Callica.
Awesome job! I am so looking forward to the next chapter. =)

Ian will be showing up to complicate Erica's life further. That's all I'm saying.
Thanks. I'm glad you liked it despite all comparisons to 'Rise Up.' ;))

And definitely, yours make way more sense than rise up. Hehe. :) This should have been the plot shown instead. I believe Erica is actually more rational than to walk away because of an argument.

And you're right, Erica is an extremely rational person. I think if things got too heated or whatever, she'd take a step back, but she wouldn't just pack up her toys and leave. That whole thing is still just bizarre. One good thing that came out of it, if you want to look at the silver lining, is that her leaving was so open ended that it gives fan fiction writers infinite options as to where she went and what she's doing now. And who said I was a glass half empty kind of person?
