friends-cut

Just like i'm doing in real life, I am slowly but surely going to cut people from my friend's list. I'm either just not clicking with you, don't read your entries (which is unfair to you), or don't feel open or trusting towards you. It's no hard feelings but this is my -safe- place where I hold only a few things back and need to feel 100% ( Read more... )

Ironically I find this is one of your more honest and sincere entries actually, and I totally respect that. I also agree with everything you said.

This can be a vapid, shallow town; I really hope you find the satisfaction you seek and keep everything in perspective.

-Fame and success are not synonymous.
-There is no overnight success: success is a function of sustained hard work and a plan.
-No one ever finds fulfillment living by other people's perceptions of them. (Or, as you might say, "Fuck fear.")

Be well.

I try to be the most honest and sincere in all my posts.

It was no hard feeling towards you. It was the fact that I wasn't even sure if you read my posts since you rarely commented and i never really knew what you were talking about in yours. lol

No, certainly no hard feelings! I've been unnaturally obsessed with the eurozone debt crisis lately, so I'll admit I've become increasingly arcane. I didn't even make a Thanksgiving entry sadly.

I always read your entries, though, for the record. You just obviously have a history of people being unpleasant, and I was afraid to comment sometimes at even the possibility of being mistaken for the same. Similarly, I know you're honest, so I literally struggled for hours yesterday trying to figure out what exactly I had meant, and I realized that, when you said "this is my -safe- place," it's the first time I got a sense of your vulnerability. It's a side you don't often show, but it suits you well: it makes you much more relatable. Life is tough, but don't let it make you too tough; it's a balance I wrested with for years.
