Big news again! We bought an appartment!

In many ways 2011 is a terrible year since I am struggeling with pneumonia cased by mycoplasma bacterias, I am currently on antibiotics for the fourth time in a year, and I am exhausted.
I like my job, so despite I am sick, I have been working this whole time, not missing a day.  Everything goes with enough Paracet.

YAY!!! Except your version of cheap and mine (395,943USD) are way different!! An apartment for almost half a million dollars is WOAH!!!! Not cheap :)

I know, but keep in mind that salaries here in Norway are among the highest in the world, and that the house/flat prices reflects our ability to consume... I am sure that we spend about the same percentage of our paycheck paying for housing. My parents place would sell for about 1,5 mill dollars here, to give you a perspective, and it's just a normal house in a good neighbourhood.

Ohhh, Okay. I was actually unaware of the salary differences. Then I'm totally, super psyched for your cheap apartment! Your apartment cost more than my parents 5200 sq foot house on 5 acres!!

Where do you live? What state are you in? Even with the recession, your parents house sounds inexpensive.
