Vindicated! I always felt that the Hermione/Ron relationship was shoehorned in. It just didn't make sense to me, even as just a first romantic relationship. They were just too different and never saw eye to eye. How can two people like that have a life together? I firmly believe opposites can attract and that partners should compliment each other, but Hermione and Ron just didn't do that IMO. In some ways it seemed like Ron got the girl because Harry got to save the world, and I hated Hermione being reduced to that.
YES! The Harry/Hermione relationship always made so much more sense to me. I learned to live with Ron/Hermione, but Harry/Ginny? No, just doesn't work for me.
I really did sit on my couch laughing for five minutes straight after seeing this post. It's so nice that she's finally caught on to what the rest of us already saw.
I think there are a great number of people who were dining at Wild Wing Cafe with us that are sitting at home right now, pitying my poor husband because his wife has Tourettes.
