I haven’t written in a while. I guess I’ll start with Puebla. We took a taxi from the school to a bus station and bought tickets for the bus that left 15 minuets later. I've added a lot of new pictures to my photo page, the link is in one of the earlier journal entries. And tomorrow I'm going to go to Puebla on a spontaneous trip with some other people. It should be fun! And I'm going to go play some more soccer today.

Today we didn’t have social work class and we actually went home right after school. We picked up Ana Luisa (my host sister) and her friend from school and came home to eat lunch right away around 3ish, because Ana and her friend had volleyball practice shortly after. Today we went on an excursion to a the Museum Brady in downtown Cuernavaca. It was basically a house of a really rich American collector guy who liked Mexico so much he decided to live there. He collected artwork from all over the world and displayed it all over the walls of his house. It was really cool. There was one room that was kinda ( Read more... )

So today was a good day. We finally learned the past tense, even though I’d figured out some of it already. My class wasn’t too distracted today but they were still amusing. Tomorrow is the last day of the social work class, so instead of going to school from 9 to 4 every day we only go from 9 to 2:30 which will really be much better and I ( Read more... )

Sorry I have not written in so long. We’ve been really busy again as always. Again I can’t remember what I wrote before so hopefully I don’t end up repeating myself. I went to a party thingy with my host mother and everyone there kissed us on the cheek on one side. I knew they did that here and have had a few Mexican people kinda do that to me in America, but I didn’t really know exactly what was going on or what I should do so it didn’t really work very well.
