Of Laparoscopes, EKG's and cat deportations

Having now slept off a fair bit of my last dose of happy-making painkillers, I think I can now afford to go into a bit more detail on the fun filled events of yesterday. Glad to hear that you're feeling well. I find surgery stories pretty interesting. :)

Ouch. I've heard that it's hard to find a doctor who will tie up the tubes in the US if you're under 30 and haven't had children. Sweet medical control. :)

It is very difficult, even here. I have tried before, believe me :) Even for this doctor, she spent a lot of time trying to talk me out of it, and then had me wait several months and call her back before she would let me make an appointment.

The way I see it, if it is any woman's right to have an abortion, it should also be her right to choose never to have to be in that situation to begin with...

*Sigh*

I think it's a very responsible choice. I struggle with the idea of adding to the family all the time. I love my stepson so much, but to start all over again..holy shizz. Kids are alot, alot, alot of work.

I always say that maybe I'll have a baby when I run out of fun things to do. ;)
