Granted, I know several people who have lost a lot of cash the past two weeks, and I am not happy about that, but the overall thought that I have been having is that this recession is going to enable me to sort of jump start investment, such as buying a house, putting money away for retirement, and possibly starting a business. The only worrying thing for me is making enough money to make it all happen during the recession.
The other positive thought I have coming out of this is that, since the recession is almost worldwide, it will bring down prices for traveling for the next few years, letting me go places I thought I would not be able to afford until much later in life.
