sankta lucia is this amazing swedish holiday about a girl who brings light in winter. actually, the catholics apparently hate lucia and killed her by cutting up her stomach--and that's why she wears a red ribbon around her waist--but sweden loves her because she wears a crown of candles and sings, making everyone happier in wintertime. so lucia is ( Read more... )

hej maya! åh vad jag önskar att jag var utbytesstudent i sverige när jag läser det här! haha. jag saknar västkusten, knäckebröd, kommunaltrafik, saltlakrits och svensk choklad :) but i also enjoy brown sugar cinnamon poptarts, m&m's and bagels with cream cheese! roligt att du går på nösnäsgymnasiet också.. i might know some people there, don't really know hehe but i played soccer with some girls from stenugnsund a couple of years ago. and also, göteborg är supervackert! ta hand om dig :) kramkram / emelie in america!
