Random thought

We went to SoCal over the weekend for my cousin's wedding. (Yay!) It was a long drive. (Ugh.) So I had lots of time to think. So, random road question: if you had the opportunity to name a newly-discovered element, what would you call it? Would you use the common -ium ending (Plutonium, Helium, Californium)? The "gen" suffix is used to tell you what an element creates when it reacts (hydro = water) so I would stick with an "ium" suffix. If I was the discoverer, I would push to have it bear my name!

I'm partial to naming after famous people who have advanced science (Nobelium, Curium, etc.), so I'd go for Aldrinium (Bz)

Moon rocks contain armalcolite, a mineral first discovered on the moon and named for Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins.
