I've gone back to the concept of a herb garden. My last attempt resulted in a bunch of dead plants because I have a black thumb like that. But now? Ha ha ha ... let's try again!

Local tourism: Santa Cruz Mystery Spot
We have now joined the cult of People Who Have Gone To The Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz, CA ... and we have the bumper sticker to prove it! Although there's one last spot on my Local Tourism "to do" list (the Rosicrucian Museum), I feel this is The Proof that I have made it:

Local tourism: San Jose History Park
I took EM Jr to the San Jose History Park Sunday afternoon. What can I say? It was free. EM Jr loved the trolley car and the trolley museum, with its miniature trolley out front (with wheels! and bells!). There were small museums celebrating Greek-Americans and Portuguese-Americans. Local tourism: Hanna House (Palo Alto)
Last weekend I toured Frank Lloyd Wright's Hanna House, built for the Hanna family on Stanford land in 1937. The Hannas were idealistic young professors - not much money, but they dreamed big. Local tourism: Stanford Campus Walking Tour
Today I took Ginger Boy to Stanford to go on the Stanford Campus Walking Tour. I was hoping for more information about the campus features, but it was really geared at selling Stanford to prospective undergraduates and describing the Stanford experience.

Thoughts on Ginger Boy's 1st Birthday Party
