Local tourism: Santa Cruz Mystery Spot

We have now joined the cult of People Who Have Gone To The Mystery Spot in Santa Cruz, CA ... and we have the bumper sticker to prove it! Although there's one last spot on my Local Tourism "to do" list (the Rosicrucian Museum), I feel this is The Proof that I have made it:

We went years ago as part of the local science fiction club's outing. It was the "Harmonic Convergence" (dear Lord, it must have been around 1988 or 1989) so we thought that would be a trippy place to go and experience the non-event.

Ever since I went to the Mystery Spot I've been baffled re: why people actually apply their free bumper stickers to their cars!!

I think I've mentioned this before, but I used to work at the Rosecrucian Museum!

1) OMG, we survived that horrible road! I need a bumper sticker as proof! 2) Dude, we just got ripped off big-time. Let's use the free sticker to sucker random other people into doing the same thing! 3) My mind was blown! I have to communicate my hippie-dippie mind-change to the world!
