There's a bat in our hallway. Not a little bitsy baby one either - a huge one (probably Dracula from the looks of him). Everyone's running around like a crazy fool yelling "Call the emergency number QUICK!!!" The poor bat is sailing back and forth forlornly looking for his habitat. The whole scene is adorable, but I feel sorry for the poor bat

Oh, poor bat, but it certainly ads a bit of excitement to a day.

I too feel sorry for the bat. They get a totally undeserved rap. My daughter got one caught in her apt. She of course, panicked and fled the apt. I had to go in, catch it and get it out of there. I did in about 5 minutes or so. That poor bat looked at me like what the hell just happened to me here. I thoroughly sympathized with him.

Too bad. Next time, they should call the wildlife rescue people. There's actually a sanctuary in Gaithersburg:
