Its been quite awhile since I've posted. I've had a lot on my plate and have been working to get some peace and stability in my life. I'm on Disability due to the fact that I cannot work. Well fall is lovely this year. The same lovely crisp smells that I love. The beauty of the leaves, and the cool air. So awesome! My favorite time of year. I've also seen some lovely oaks that are the loveliest shade of maroon. My favorite trees those are.

Why is it that if you don't rake in a fat salary you are not doing anything all day. I'm feeling a bit not appreciated. No matter what I do its like its nothing. Not important and so forth. How does one deal with people when they don't appreciate what you do for them. It is hard to deal with this.

Well today I'm making blackberry jam. Ummm so far it's turning out to be lovely with a great smell and flavor. It is slow cooking though. Got to simmer it down to the right consistency. I want it thick enough to spread on bread. Ummmmm Peanut butter and blackberry jam sandwiches.lol Oh yeah! And there is more blackberries yet to pick. ( Read more... )

Today was a very frustrating and unhappy day for me. It put a closing on some things which i itself is a good thing. It did bring up memories of a lot of things that hurt. Things I'd let go of but which still sting me at times. I am many things most of them good, and I work to improve on those things. There is much pain in some of those things ( Read more... )

Well now the complete ultrasound is done. She was very thorough so hopefully it will shed light on just what exactly is going on in my innerworkings. I will be glad to have this dealt with though I'm really worried about it. I'm hoping its something minor that a simple course of meds will handle. This job search has become a real study in frustration. I honestly don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or its my age, or what. I know I'm only 59 and people older than me get jobs. Well still seeking employment. So far I've got a lot of apps in and I just took one in for Barnes & Noble my very favorite bookstore. I would so love to work there. We went to see Saltwater state park. It is a pretty cool park but a bit harder to get around in. It has boulders that you have to climb down to get to the main beach. Well today I saw my first hummingbird up here. It was lovely flitting out and around the tree across the alley from me. I think there are flowers in there. I love hummingbirds. Also saw a different kind of Jay. Usually I'm used to the light grey to white ones with the black markings. These are dark grey with dark blue through them. Any way ( Read more... )
