I used to be fearless of bugs. I remember years ago, my brother and my cousin Mario were outside on the porch in my grandma's house when I saw them running, as if for dear life, back inside the house and closing the door. When I went to see what the commotion was about, it turned out that they were running from a flying bug. I don't know what those ( Read more... )

ooooh my god!!!!!!! i've become absolutely terrified of spiders and roaches and wasps and all those other nasty creepy crawlers... not too long ago my room was invaded by this HUGE spider, then i coudlnt find it to kill it. i seriously considered driving all the way to john's so i wouldnt have to sleep in the same room as the roaming spider

I can't believe your parents said that! lol, we are terrified of texan cockroaches.. they make panama cockroaches look like baby roaches!. Over there I didnt mind killing them, they seemed more friendly, over here they attack you, they don't give a shit if you show the chancla or raid, they walk towards you. They are so huge! I am afraid of them, but nothing else. Well also of our dear brown recluses and black widows, those are scary, so whenever I see one I also run away. Scary Texas.

Oh man, that is the stuff of nightmares. I was once fearless of bugs, and I used to play with these tiny cockroaches back in NYC...then common sense finally kicked in. My mom used to tell me this story of how this roach crawled into some kid's ears and stayed in there (aggghhhh!!).

Cockroaches are vile, Vile, VILE!

You used to play with roaches??? Yes, I'm definitely calling the therapist now. A cousin of mine had something similar happen to her. A bug (I think it was a roach) crawled in her ear while she was sleeping and then it wouldn't come out so they had to take her to the hospital.
