Well... It's been a while, huh? ^^; Since I last drew something, I mean. Rating G. Photoshop + Wacom. Quasi-realistic. Around 5 hours.

Genderless stuff is relative actually. Some lists of angel names present some angels as female (esp. those that have power over conception, childbirth, etc.), hence most others are considered male, I guess. Personally I always thought of them as gender-specific. At least when it comes to pronouns. It's easier that way))

I keep thinking that angels are males, but it's mainly because the gender for this noun in Polish is masculine. In the same way Death is always a female for me ^^; Would be interesting if Azrael would indeed be a woman, though.

Yeah, we have the same thing in Russian)) I used to be completely unable to think of Death as anything but female but Terry Pratchett and SPN sort of changed that perspective))
Maybe they can change their sex at will? XD

Quite possible :P Or maybe their gender depends on who looks at them at the moment :P This would be especially funny IMO.
I once heard that death as a noun has a masculine gender in English. Not sure if it is true.
