Am I the only one who keeps typing HBO?

Let's talk Lily ships and how a die-hard Lily/James shipper like me has begun to see something there that wasn't there before. Beauty and the Beast, eh? Oh, you don't know the half of it ;)

HBP Spoilers and pure speculation, based on interviews, Snape, and possible flights of fancy. )

Have you read "Be All My Secrets Remembered," by LaReineNoire? She has a VERY interesting Snape/Lily theory that I find very, very believable indeed.

Ooh, nope, I don't think so. Will google for it, thank-you!

Oh I like the idea that Lily was responsible for them finding out the spells... makes sense to me. And yes, he could have grovelled a bit for Voldie not to kill Lily. I think you just filled in the last gaps in this theory for me...

Eh, if there was another reason for Voldemort not killing Lily, I think JKR would've hinted at it by now. Methinks she's unlikely to wallop us round the head with some brand new bit of Lily!info in book 7, about her secret importance to Voldemort or whatever, because she likes to give us clues beforehand. We know so little about Lily, the Potions link is one of only a few bits of concrete info JKR has given us throughout the entire series, so Snape begging on Lily's behalf seems to be the only thing that fits. Imo, anyhoo.

Oh, I like this a lot.

Of course, I totally believed the HBP was going to be Merlin, too... ;-)

Haha, he totally made more sense than Eileen who-what-never-heard-of-her Prince ;)! Honestly my theories almost always turn out to be crackpot and way off the mark. I would give up if I didn't love it all so much :D
