So, weighed myself this morning post workout. 256, pretty much on the nose. Means I've lost 8 and a half pounds since I started working out. (maybe more, I gain about a pound or so in water during my workout, because I make sure to down a whole lot of water to keep well hydrated. Parker Services (the people I used to temp through) sent me a very touching birthday card today, even bearing all the signatures of everyone in Parker Technical.
My birthday is August 3rd. -
Medical fun
Went to the doctor yesterday for ickiness with my finger for stiffness, sensitivity and then, that day, lots of swelling. Some poking and (ew) draining later, I'm on antibiotics for the next week. Fun ( Read more... ) -

Texas update: Out at the property west of Houston. Had more good food than I can shake a stick at. Helped Dad set up some fish feeders for the ponds today. Went to a neighbor's party at the property across the highway and then to a mexican restaurant for dinner. My little sister's awesome as always. In other news, I forgot the power cable for my CPAP machine at home. I could have sworn I always stashed a spare in the bag. Fuck!
Time to see if my medical supplier is cool enough to do same-day Fed-Ex cross country.
