I started my new job today. It looks like it's going to be an interesting job, despite that the attire that I was requested to wear today by Human Resources is not the type of attire one should wear in the Florida heat to landscaping and other outdoor work. I got a job, finally.

Horticultural technician at the city zoo.

$7.50 an hour... But I'll take it. It's something before I [hopefully] leave with the Corps.

Since it'll be a couple weeks before I hear back about the museum job, I'm wondering if anyone out there knows if they still need bus drivers to help transport people out of Louisiana and the like? I have a CDL and can drive large buses legally. I just don't know how I'd volunteer for something like that.
