why doesn't Massu just open his room's door and let the cold air from the living room flow into his room. well, this is assuming both rooms are beside each other. :P

I'm guessing it's because Massu mainly complains about the nights being hot. Most Japanese clsoe the AC at night for health reason ^^ So usually people sleep with the fresh air that the AC gave during the day. (not everyone does this though but since Massu's health conscious I'm guessing his family probably closes it at night XD)
If Massu lives in an appartment then the living room must be close xD but I don,t know if his home is a house or an appartment XD

good point, lol, yeah i think that's what happens, 'cause during the summer, he says he likes to stay in his house 'cause it's comfortable, but he complains about waking up drenched in sweat.. so i think your explanation is probably what happens. ^^

when I was in Japan I was told by my teacher and my host father, and also saw it on commercial on TV that they said it was better to turn it off xDDDD that's why I know (Massu would die if he lived with someone like me XD I get sick when I'm in a place with AC for too long so at home we don't have AC at all not even in the living room ^^;;;;;)

I'm glad you make those, they're not too long to read and since I don't listen to it sometimes when I see interresting topics I'll drop by and read :D I should listen though it would practice my Japanese more then variety shows and dramas/anime xD
