I finally broke down and bought a new monitor today. It's nice to be able to see all the darks and lights now, and I'm sure it will help my artwork, but ( Read more... )

Found Pirates of Penzance as a file that I burned on to dvd so I've got it on dvd finally if you want it.

lcd will be so much better on your eyes. my roomate gotta a bigger lcd and gave me his old one... now i can actually sit at my computer for longer than 20 minutes without my eyes burning.

p.s. even on your worst day you're still the "baddest mofo lowdown 'round this town" when it comes to art. :)

There was a time, not too long ago, when I literally burst into tears at the sight of a sewing machine. But I didn't want to be like my Dad, who used to be amazing with the violin, but won't touch one now because he can't bear to not be as great as once he remembered. It was humbling, picking up the needle again.

I have enormous faith in your art, and in your ability to bring it forth. Is it alright to wish artists good luck, or are broken limbs/pencils more appropriate? In either case, I'm wishing you the best, and an easier transition from sketch to paint, and joy in your work.

LCD is easier on my eyes than the tube. Also: less radiation. Yay for less radiation!! I mean, unless you were trying to go for the nukyuler radiation soopah-hyooman POWAHS!!! In which case I am sad that you are not already Spiderman. Poor woobie. :(
