Rain, how I've missed you.

It's a cool 77 degrees outside and the overcast sky is a lovely blue-gray color I haven't seen in awhile. The rain smells so good this morning. I let Lola out and didn't mind at all that she was taking her sweet time. I closed my eyes and listened to the tiny rain drops hitting the leaves, the gutter, the ground. Autumn...the word suits the season much better than "fall" doesn't it? :)

Loved this...so excited! Let's continue our favorite fall past times...Starbucks dates, walking around together in wintery wear, staying in for movies and cookies, our holiday party...yay!

I'm excited for autumn as well, but only because chances of rain are higher. The rain seems to do its best to avoid San Antonio; it can't keep it up forever. I miss the rain...
